"Got my kit for my 2007 Toyota Camry LE. Took about 3 days to get to me.

I previously had the Scosche brand which is limited in so many ways in terms of what it can do if you do not have the SAT option on your car radio. No playlist selection nor text mode. I did some verification from Supri on Toyota Nation ( toyotanation.com ) and he convinced me the GTA car kit was going to do exactly what I was expecting from an iPod adapter.

It took me less than thirty minutes to install and I am really enjoying it. I will buy it again for my 2003 Highlander and 2011 Rav4."

    "Hello,

After buying a 2007 Toyota Camry SE used three years ago, I grew tired of listening to my iPods through the auxiliary jack. I wanted to control the iPod through my stereo and steering wheel controls like my JBL stereo. The local dealers don't offer an adapter since the 2012 models are in the showroom.

I found your site by searching Google. I ordered my kit on April 16th and it arrived by USPS on April 21st. Within 30 minutes, I had everything up and running.

I am very impressed with your quality product and easy installation. The video was easy to follow. It only took me a few more minutes longer than your eleven minute clip on YouTube.

Thanks for great product - I would recommend your kits to anyone and everyone.
Yours truly, Shawn" (Temple Hills, MD, USA)

"Awesome item, and priceless vid. I installed this today in about 45 mins, I would recommend to everyone to install the module under the gear shift panel to easily access later if needed.. The iPod cable came loose twice, once during the install process, then once again while feeding the excess cable back through the storage box (the best place for the iPod, drill a hole for the cable). Great item."

"As I upgraded my car with iPod adapter for GTA Car Kits - here is my review of this product in case somebody else is interested.
Before buying the adapter for my car, I did some research (see my previous thread). I picked GTA Car Kits because of the price and their video instructions that are specific to my car. I don't like the fact that other suppliers don't take time to provide instructions as removing the stereo is not a trivial task.

So, the price was $99 with free shipping and my kit arrived in 4 days after placing the order. Stereo removal procedure is exactly as in the video:

It took me about 1 hour and a half to do the complete installation and there is no any visible scratches left.

Basically, there are 4 places where you can run the iPod cable: through the vents (it is what I did), to the glovebox (perfect solution if you have iPod that is not moved back and forth), to the compartment with AUX that located below the stereo and to the arm rest. I also highly recommend car holder that is sold on the same website for $20. It is quite handy and perfect for my iPhone 4.

The sound volume is the same as in FM mode and it is CD quality.

To get to iPod mode you need to press DISK button or Audio Mode button on the steering wheel. You would get into CD1 mode as on the picture above.

There are two submodes - one is hybrid submode where you can switch songs both from iPod/iPhone and from the stereo/steering wheel. On the stereo you would switch songs using "SEEK-TRACK" buttons. To get into the hybrid submode you need to press DISC DOWN (button "3") until it gets into Disk 1. But in this mode Random button does not work and you cannot see the name of the song. Second submode is the Playlist - where you can switch songs only from stereo (iPod is locked). In this mode you can switch between playlist using DISK DOWN/DISC UP (button "3" and "4"), use Random song feature (button "1"), use Repeat song feature (button "2"), see the text of the song and playlist number ("Text" button). I also really like fast forward (button "5") as I usually listen to 2-hours trance shows like State of Trance and without this feature you can get stuck with very bad music .

I also like that the iPod is automatically gets paused when you turn off the stereo, remove the key or switch to FM mode. It resumes at the same position when you go back to CD1 mode or start your car. Also I like that iPod is not charging when you remove the key from ignition, as I had an issue with DICE in my old BMW when it completely discharged my battery.
Overall I highly recommend this upgrade as it gives you great features for little price.

    Update:
    1. This kit does not use factory AUX in any way. I can still use factory AUX after pressing AUX button and listen to the music through this port.

    2. I don't use Pandora, but I have "Jango radio" installed. I tried it and the kit streams the sound but does not switch songs. When I change the song on the steering wheel, the Jango radio is paused and my iPod music resumes.

    3. Indeed, I get message "This accessory is not optimized for iPhone" every time I connect to the kit which can be annoying. I read somewhere that it is because this kit is not made by Apple, but I am not sure. I just ignore this message and it disappears at some point without any actions on my side.

"The aux jack on my Camry was broken, so I searched on Youtube for Toyota Camry AUX and found your website. I chose GTA because it was easy to install because you showed me how to install it on the video.

The shipping was 3 days. Installation was pretty easy. It took me about an hour and half, longer than it should have, since I didn't route the wires correctly. I ran the cable through the aux jack hole. I really like the integration with Camry controls and ability to change songs.

I would recommend GTA Car Kit especially given that the aux replacement part on the Toyota cost more money than this product, and I get more functionality with this product.

    "Hi gtacarkits,

I already have factory AUX output in my Camry, but I was not completely happy with it. I already have your kit on my Honda Odyssey 2005. And I noticed that when I am driving Camry and listening to my iPhone with regular AUX, I miss small but important features like automatic charging, ability to switch songs from the steering wheel, automatic pause when I turn off the radio and song numbers.

So, I purchased Camry kit and very happy with it. Your installation videos are awesome and it was really easy to do.

I also purchased your perfect car holder and installed it on the passenger side vents. Very convenient accessory as my iPhone became real GPS (I use free MapQuest app).
My daughter thinks that I am cool ;).

    Thanks a bunch!

Update: I ran the ipod cable through the passenger vents and I think it is much cleaner solution because there is no hanging cables anymore. "
