I installed this in my car yesterday. The video was very helpful, and while my car was not exactly like the one used in the video, it was close enough. The hardest part was getting the new wire harness to fit behind the radio unit. The optic cables in the car were bundled with other wires going to the connector that plugs into the radio, and I unbundled them to allow that end of the harness to move farther out of the way. All the original functions work as before, so for example, backup camera will come on, displacing CarPlay functions on the screen, and then return to the CarPlay function when in drive. When using Waze (the main reason I got this system) the car screen functions properly, but sound for directions comes from the phone, not the car. The car satellite radio does not mute or turn down during directions, so the directions are a bit harder to hear. And since the system uses the original screen, there are no touchscreen functions. Overall I am happy with the system, and would purchase again.
