  • I purchased the Pure Bluetooth kit after watching the installation video. While installing it was quite easy, I realized that the stereo on my ’04 Camry wasn’t switching into the expected mode, even though my phone connected to the Bluetooth module as expected. I contacted GTA Car Kits and I have been blown away by the high quality of their customer service. I returned the original kit and GTA shipped me a replacement, which turned out to have a different style of connector; when I emailed GTA they immediately sent me an adapter to fit my stereo port. After installing this, everything worked perfectly.

Seriously, good customer service like this is hard to come by. I’m thrilled to be able to connect my phone to my car stereo without a clunky and barely functional FM transmitter. If you’re looking for a solution, look no further.

  • The unit works wonderfully, HOWEVER!!!! It is very important not to follow exactly the instructions from the VIDEO first, which instructs you to disassemble the unit and THEN follow the steps for configuring the cars OEM video and Aux and GTA Carplay setup. The instructions packaged with the unit clearly indicates that the steps should be reversed, and the system setup instructions prior to disassembly (VERY IMPORTANT). As difficult as it is to push the wires back far enough with room for the head unit and AC controller, I had to dissemble the entire unit and start all over. Trust me, this was a ROYAL Pain in every part of my body and mind!!! GTA, while the video instructions are very helpful as far as showing how and where everything should go, it would be most helpful to make sure that the ORDER to follow them were accurate and precise. Other than that, the unit works wonderfully!

  • This unit rocks! I installed in about 45 mins by following the video step by step. Wireless and wired CarPlay work perfectly and I am super excited to have it built in. This is a must have upgrade.

  • Great upgrade
    Easy to install
Although difficult to push wires back in to lock needs a lot of maneuvering
Please take a picture in engineering mode of your original settings Very Important

  • Installed on a 2005 Avalon I inherited a couple of years ago. Got fed up with the audio quality from cassette adapters.

It really was as easy as the guy in the video makes it look. I had very minimal tools, and almost no experience with stuff like this, but I had my car back to together and running within like an hour. It’s a world of difference actually getting some bass in my music.

Shipping was next day as claimed, and product arrived and functioned exactly as advertised. It’s a bit pricy but for a permanent mod that will definitely help with a resell, I can’t talk l really fault it. If you own one of these cars this is a no-brainer purchase. The only thing I’ll ding it on is the somewhat poor English on the manual.

  • I’m always nervous when it comes to aftermarket parts for foreign cars. However I really wanted to add CarPlay to my 2015 Mercedes C300 4matic. After finding GTAcarkits I order the part and it got to me in less then 5 days! I followed the instructions provided in the YouTube video and was able to install it in about 2 hours. I have only had it for 4-5 days now but it really has changed the name of the game. The installation was not to complicated, the product does everything I thought it would and honestly more. I have gotten several compliments on it in just a few days and I’m extremely happy with the service and product that GTA Car Kits provides. If your like me and weary of aftermarket parts, I can testify that this is a company worth doing business with.

  • Mercedes C300 4Matic 2017 with Audio CD 20 (7.4″ screen)

I installed this in about an hour. Compared to the GLC he shows in the video there are many more wires in the back of the radio and not a lot a space so you have to take time to tuck them all in properly. As he suggested you also have to find a place to put the box. There is also very little space to put it under the carpeting on passenger side. I got it intalled and working but will be trying to hide the box tommorrow behind the carpet.

-The cable for the USB to the phone is too short on the C300 due to where you have to mount the box, so I decided to just let that be connected directly to the box and not inside the center console. I tried 2 seperate USB cables and neither would initiate wired android auto. I’m not sure if these cables are power only and not data or why they would not work. I ended up going into the system itself and setting up wireless android auto that way. It works fine, and I do not plan on using the wire.

-I also elected to just have the wifi dongle also be outside the center console as it just needs to have a signal and really can go anywhere.

My main concern is will this drain the car battery or not. I’m not sure if the unit shuts off after a period of time but after all the dash went dark the unit was still flashing lights. Hopefully its very low drain or we may have a problem in the winter.

All in all, I like the unit so far and am glad I got it. The lack of touch screen means a lot of scrolling around but thats just the way it is, even on units with factory Carplay and before touch screens.

  • I am not one to take manufacturers much to their claims, so I do a lot of research, ask a lot of questions and study those claims before pulling the trigger on any major purchase. I am an older consumer so $500 to me is a major purchase. I spoke with Vitaly at GTA on several occasions before purchasing the kit for my 2017 Mercedes S550. He was very forthcoming on details, answering all my questions and giving me lots of advice on installation. I decided to go forward when GTA guaranteed the system will work with my COMAND system in my car. And while I have been able to do a lot of work on my cars in the past, I am getting older and just did not want to crawl from front to back to do all the work, and therefore hired an independent installer to do the work.
He looked at the kit, which he said was very well designed, found everything he needed and confirmed the installation should go easily. I gave him a copy of the installation video which he watched and it took him a little more than an hour and fifteen minutes to install….he did have one glitch, called GTA and they answered his question quickly and the installation was done.
The system works just as they advertised. The car is not set up as the newer cars with touch screen, but all the CarPlay options seem to be in place to use with the console controls. The maps are great and system seems to be very reliable. Have had it in my car for almost two months and the maps are a thousand times better than the old COMAND system maps available from Mercedes….and no upgrade charge every year.
Thanks to Vitaly and Maurizio for all their help and for the patience from all my questions, which were quickly and professionally answered.

  • I have researched all types of ways to add Bluetooth to my Prius. This was the most economical choice, as replacing the stereo would have been 3x this price. The install was easy. Set up was flawless. The sound quality is exactly as my stock system sounds. I am honestly impressed with this set up. Thanks for a quality product with a solid price tag!
