  • “I was searching out solutions on the internet for my Lexus ES330 and came across your excellent video showing how to install it. I then went to your website to investigate further.

I’ve been using a cassette adapter for awhile now but the player started to reject it after awhile. The solution just became more and more frustrating because it was touch and go, plus the wire was in the way all the time. Additionally, I would have to recharge the iPod.

The GTA solution was PERFECT because a) all the wires are hidden, b) the iPod can stay in the glove compartment and be constantly recharged, and c) I can control the iPod from the dashboard controls (!!) It could not be a better solution.

Shipping was very fast. I received it within a week of ordering, and it was tracked via Canada Post.

The installation could not have been easier. The video was excellent in showing exactly what needed to be done, and the dashboard came apart without any surprises. I did not have to buy any extra tools because you were kind enough to suggest just putting electrical type around the tip of the flathead screwdriver so I could use it to pry the dashboard. Taking apart the dashboard took less than 10 min, although the entire installation took more than 1/2 hour because I had trouble feeding the cables through to the glove box. If it wasn’t for that, I would have been done in 15 min.

I am using an iPod Nano 4th generation, and I ran the cables through to the glove box.

I really like the fact that there are no wires, the iPod remains continuously charged, and I can control it from the CD dashboard controls.

It was a very pleasant experience working with you, as you were very prompt in responding to email enquiries, very friendly, and always gave helpful advice.

Buying the kit was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made, and I have absolutely no regrets. I’ve been recommending the product to anyone I know who may be interested.”

  • “I was researching online different methods of hooking up my iPod/iPhone to my radio and read a review of GTA on a Tacoma forum. After watching the installation video on YouTube, I decided to order it.

I have used FM transmitters in the past but did not like the sound quality they produce. I went to a local car audio place and they showed me a basic AUX product they would install for a cost of $200.

Product took only two days to arrive.

Installation was much easier than I thought it would be, only took about 10 minutes. Only tools needed was a wire I made a hook out of to remove the heater control dash. I already owned a 10mm nut driver which could easily remove the four bolts holding the radio in. Following the video on my phone while installing made the whole process very simple.

I use both an iPod Classic and my iPhone 4S with the kit. I decided to run the iPod cable out of the same hole as my emergency brake handle.

The perfect car holder that fits in my vent is a must have. It helps keep the wire out of the way and gives me perfect accessibility to my iPod. Also I like being able to use my controls on the wheel makes it so I never even have to touch my radio.

Considering the audio shop was wanting to charge me nearly double to just put in a jack on my existing radio, I believe this purchase was a steal. I have already told several friends who own Tacoma’s about this product. ”

  • “Had to come back to you guys for splitter since my Pilot has DVD, but once I received it and bought a short screwdriver, installation was a breeze!

Worked just like shown in the video. Kicking myself for taking so long to do this project! Took all of 15 minutes thanks to your awesome instructions

    – thank you!”

  • “I did some research online to determine the best way to add MP3 capability to my existing Truck audio system. I was considering an FM transmitter but even with the direct FM integration they did not seem to be a reliable solution.

Shipping was great. I think it arrived 3 days after the order.

Installation was simple, I have installed car stereo equipment before so I have experience. The video was very helpful as it pointed out specifically which dash components needed to be removed – I think a person with no experience could complete the install after watching the video.

I am using an iPhone 5. I was able to place the GTA module behind the head control unit and run the cables out between the ash tray and cup holder assembly. This allowed the cables to set in the console tray which is where I keep the phone. I could have alternately run the cables into the center console but this was not necessary for my needs.

I didn’t have any issues with the product or the purchasing experience. Folks should just be aware that they will need to purchase the separate 30-pin to lightning adapter if they have newer apple products.

I would recommend the product – I think it’s a good value with a simple installation. It saved me purchasing a replacement audio system which was really unnecessary since the factory unit is high quality and still works fine. Thanks for a well-made product!”

  • Found GTA Car Kits by searching car forums online for auxilary integration with the factory stereo in my TSX 2004. I picked your kit because FM transmitter would not provide adequate sound quality, and non-factory stereos are difficult to install/integrate in the TSX.

Shipping was quick, less than a week.

Installation was very easy and only took about 10-15 minutes. No tools were required, and the video was very helpful.

I am using the kit with a Samsung Galaxy S4 (AUX), older iPod (non-Touch), and an iPhone 4S. I ran the auxilary cable through a hole in the storage compartment just beneath the stereo. I ran the iPod cable underneath the stereo, and then out from under the plastic center console trim piece on the passenger side.

I like the integration with the CD/AUX button on the factory stereo and the ability to have both an iPod/iPhone connector as well as a 3.5 aux cable. The ability to use the SEEK buttons on the factory stereo to change tracks on a iPod/iPhone is nice as well.

    Thanks

  • “I first wrote to you saying your video was very well done but NOW, it is just awesome!!!

Having a 2000 TL it’s amazing to see how car stereo has changed in such a short time. Of course, I’m old enough to remember having an 8-Track player between the front seats. But we also had .26 cent gasoline then too. Now I read CD’s are on their way out. Oh well.

The kit went in without a hitch. Acura really screwed this car together. I did move the control unit into the center console box since there was a long enough cable, by drilling a 1 inch hole which will get a grommet. It sounds fantastic with the iPhone. To think I was planning on replacing the head unit. I’m glad I didn’t. I didn’t realize there was that much power in the radio from just listening to radio stations.

Anyway, I’m glad I found your You Tube Video for my car. Excellent People, Excellent Service, Excellent Company, and Excellent Product.

    Thanks so much”

  • “GTA Car Kits Crew – I wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience all around with my new Mazda iPod/iPhone car kit.

First of all, thank you for a quick delivery; it only took two days from the time I ordered to the time it showed up in my mailbox (and I placed the order on a weekend).

I don’t consider myself handy with much and removing my own car stereo made me nervous. After visiting countless dealerships, big box stores, and other installers – all of whom quoted me prices ranging from $350-700 for install – I gave your car kit a second look.

The video posted on your site made me believe I had a shot at installing it myself without too many problems, so I decided to order it and give it a try.

I had the kit installed within 45 minutes, and most of that time was spent trying to get my fat hands behind the stereo to get the 10mm screw reinstalled. No screws lost, no clips broken, and the kit works just as advertised!

Thanks again. My commute to work will be much more tolerable from now on.
    Cheers.”

  • “I heard about GTA Car kits through the Internet. I was going through YouTube and I came up with this website. I have series xm on my car and it uses an fm transmitter which lost connection all the time. I wanted to improve the sound so I thought that by buying this product I would improve it. I actually bought two for my cars and I love them.

Shipment was very fast, took about 3 days and both if the packages were home. Took me about 20 mins installing it, very quick and easy. The tutorial video on YouTube helped me a lot.

I’m using an iPhone 5 which works perfectly. I need to learn more about the features but I really like the product. I ran the cables through the glove box. All that I needed came in the kit. I don’t have a negative comment about the product and I would recommend the product to everyone. It’s really easy, and fun to install.”
