  • I have 2005 toyota avalon. Found your kit on Toyota forum – toyotanation.com

Shipping was very fast. Installation was a breeze. Took me like 20 minutes. No extra tools. Video was very helpful.

I’m using a classic iPod and Samsung galaxy s3. Cables ran through my glove box.

I like how you switch it from manual mode to automatic mode, also I can use my steering wheel controls.

Very good value, it’s way better than the factory toyota kit. My Avalon is like a new car again.

  • “I did research on the internet for weeks and GTA seemed like a company that had the best product. I haven’t tested other products but GTA works beautifully.

I considered other solutions that were way too expensive. I went to Best Buy and they quoted me $300 for their product and installation. FM transmitters have lousy sound and I didn’t want to swap out my radio for an aftermarket. From watching the youtube video, I determined that the GTA kit was an affordable solution.

Shipping was quick, had my kit within a few days.

Installation took about 20 mins. It was amazingly simple after watching the video a few times. All it took for me was a philips head screwdriver. After installation, I thought to myself that I should have done this a long time ago.

I use my iphone and ran the cable through the glove box. The wire easily slid through the holes already between the radio and glove box. I didn’t require a hanger or anything to fish the wire through.

Overall it was easy installation, fast shipment, works as described. It has changed my whole driving experience. I have endless amounts of audio I can listen to from pandora to spotify to music on my phone. I should have done this years ago.

I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends, actually, I already have. The value is definitely worth the $100 I spent. Thank you for an awesome product!”

  • “I stumbled across the youtube video after searching for “stereo install 2001 Honda Odyssey”. We had an FM transmitter for many years, but it was too finicky and troublesome to use, and the sound quality was terrible. We didn’t want to get a whole new stereo, so this was a great option.

Shipping was super-dee-duper, smokin’ fast. Like only 3 or 4 days.

Installation was very easy and quick. I had no trouble with it. I have mine hooked up to an ipod. I ran the cables out to the right of the center console area, exiting near the passenger foot area.

I like the fact that it works with my existing stereo, and installation was so easy. Plug and play all the way, yeeeah BOY!

Price was a little steep I thought, but there’s no other comparable options. I bought it and I like it so it’s not an issue. I would recommend this product to friends, and even some enemies ;).”

  • “I found GTA Car Kit through Google searches and the Lexus car forum.

I picked GTA Car Kit because I didn’t use the CD changer so losing it was no problem, and the GTA price point was perfect.

The difficulty of installation on scale of 1 – 10 (with 10 being difficult) is a 3. The installation itself took about 45 mins.

A good chunk of time was spent deciding where to place the connector. The glove box is not an option for an iPhone because I need access to the phone. Drilling a hole in the center console would have take too much time. I decided to run the wire behind the radio and tuck it under the center console along the passenger side until it reached the cup holder. This gave me about 8 inches of slack so I can plug it in and place it in one of the cup holders. Or, if both cup holders are full I would place it in the storage bin. No drilling required. No extra tools. I COULD NOT have done this (or even bought the kit) if it weren’t for the video.

Overall it is a good value. I’ve already recommended it to my neighbor.”

  • “I was looking for parts to fix the crappy standard auxiliary jack in the corolla’s stereo, and some key words must have matched to your site from google.

I did not have to buy any tools. I had an extension magnet. The video was very good related to the corolla. I was surprised how easy it was to install. It was basically taking my time, and just watching the video on my phone as I went through the steps. Even with drilling the new access for the cable, re-installation of everything, it was under 1 hour. Could prbly do it in about 20 minutes if I had to do it again. I use Iphone 4 and the cable comes out the corolla panel/pocket on console next to power/cigarette lighter. Overall I am very happy with your system and I will definitely recommend it to friends.”

  • “I was looking for a Ipod adapter for my car when I found your website. I have a Fm transmitter I used with poor success. In the Washington Dc area, the FM band is full loaded. Another Ipod adapter was too expensive for the my use – only a few time a year. To change my very good car radio will be a 200$ and more expense. For the money and my need, this was the best bang for the buck. Having an AUX plug, ability to recharge the Ipod and fast free shipping help too.

Shipping was very fast and free.

The video was helpful as installation tool and as selling point. Was very easy and took only few minutes too install the kit on my Echo 2003. The connection behind the radio is easily accessible via under the dashboard. No tools was needed.

Like my wife, I use an iPod 5th generation. I removed the ashtray and replaced it with the module. I really like that I can control the Ipod via the factory radio. If you want an Ipod functionality and don’t want to replace your factory car radio, this is the most bang for the buck you can have. • “My car does not having an aux input and I was looking for an adapter. I came across one of your videos on YouTube describing how to install the adapter and decided to give it a try. I’ve tried an FM transmitter and non-factory car stereo in the past. The FM transmitter had poor signal/audio quality and I liked the idea of using the GTA Car Kit because I was able to keep my car “stock” without having to cut wires and remove the existing stereo.

Shipping was VERY FAST and the product arrived within several days after placing my order.

The installation was exactly as described on your YouTube channel. It took approximately 30-45 minutes (being careful) and I didn’t have to buy any extra tools. I would definitely tell others completing the install to take your advice and use the magnet to avoid losing screws (almost lost one without using the magnet). The installation was very straightforward and you aren’t even be able to tell that I did anything to the car.

I really like excellent sound quality and ability to use with factory car stereo. It really is a quality product, which says a lot in today’s world of businesses/manufacturers having to cut costs to make a profit. The GTA Car Kit was definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend it to friends/family for use in their vehicles. Overall, GREAT EXPERIENCE!”

  • “I was looking on youtube on how to take out the radio since I hadn’t taken this one out before and I was looking to tap in an fm modulator, and came across your video. I was looking at a wired in power switch fm modulator from PAC or peripheral on amazon, but I had heard these units degrade the audio signal, and I use an fm transmitter with varying results in my jeep.

After ordering I received a couple of email updates and within 3-4 days I had the unit!

Installation was real easy as this is a plug and play setup and took about an hour, and only tools required were a 10 mm socket with extension, a couple of zip ties to hang the converter against the frame behind radio, and I have a magnetic rod that I needed to grab a stray bolt or two back out of the black hole after I dropped them, they have designed it to work flawlessly with the factory radio. I have a 2008 Lexus RX 350 with Navi/bluetooth, (not the levinson radio) and it plugged right in.

The video is real explanatory, and I noticed one important note on the lexus when I watched the video again, once you have put the radio back in and plugged everything back together, you MUST PUT CAR IN PARK AND JUST PUT KEY IN IGNITION AND WAIT FOR A MINUTE, this re-acclimates the radio and it will work fine if you do this, the first time I plugged it together, I missed this and I didnt get any sound out of radio, and car wouldnt start (theft prevention).

I routed the cables into the glove box for now, but if unit continues to work great, I am going to route the 3.5 aux cable under console and up through the center console with a longer aux cable.

I like that this unit is compatible 100% with factory radio and all controls, once you get used to it its very intuitive. The value of product is great and I would recommend this to a friend!

    Thank you”

  • “I am extremely happy with my GTA car kit. After finally getting so frustrated with the FM and cassette units, I googled other solutions and ran across the GTA units. It seemed like the perfect solution. I liked that I could keep my factory head unit, and just make use of the external CD changer port. There were so many good reviews, I decided to give it a try.

Shipping was quick, the printed and YouTube instructions were a big help. Installation was a breeze – exactly like the youtube video showed. I don’t think it even took a half hour to do it. I ran the cable from the back of my head unit under the center console on the driver’s side. The unit is sitting under driver’s seat, and with cables to iPhone coming up from that between seat and console.

I can set the phone in multiple places in the console. I’m using an iPhone 4s with it with the iPhone connector. I love being able to use the buttons on my steering wheel or on factory head unit to change playlists and songs.

And the sound quality… it’s fantastic. No more fiddling with the cassette to get better sound. I love it and highly recommend it.”

  • “I am really happy with the ipod kit. It is really easy to understand and has made the amount of cables I had in my car minimal. I love the fact that it can be used with any device and when used with my ipod/iphone is charges it so it has multiple uses.

It is great that I can control my music in different ways and dont have to worry about actually holding my device while driving. The installation was done on site and done very quickly.

    Thanks GTA Car Kits!”
