Installed this kit on my Mercedes C300 2016 through the video tutorial (I recommend carefully watching it through) and it went smoothly. I did run into the problem of bypassing the fiber optic cable but Vitaliy was very patient and guided me through a solution and the kit works 100%. This kit took about 1-2 hours of labor. Once set up, it offers seamless wireless connectivity for both Apple and Android devices, allowing for hands-free navigation, music, and calls, and provides a nice modern touch to older infotainment systems. The interface is responsive and integrates well with the existing display. The build quality is solid, maintaining the vehicle’s factory look. While the kit is a bit of an investment, it’s a cost-effective way to upgrade your vehicle’s tech without buying a new car. My Quarter 1 2018 GLC350 sat nav does not show the current speed limits. So I bought the GTAcarkit. This gives me CarPlay and the option to use Waze that mostly shows the speed limits. This is essential in the highly enforced police traffic monitoring in Australia. Vitaliy helped out with initial sound issues by advising iphone setting changes. I am very happy with the upgrade

Fantastic Product. In Australia Mercedes want to charge to upgrade maps for 3 years. This unit gives me pinpoint accurancy with Google maps, Spotify and more. The only issue i had with install is the removal of the wire clips and reinstall of new clips requires quite a bit of force.
The install process was about 1.5 hours and the video on youtube is very clear.

After some trepidation, decided to go with the GTA Carplay/Android kit over the cheaper Chinese version from Aliexpress.
Installation was not that difficult, but the instruction video did miss one part of the removal of the centre compartment release fitting, which I ended up breaking a plastic tab! Luckily, it did not affect the fitting later.
Delivery arrived in Australian within two weeks. For whatever reason, tracking showed it spent up 4 to 5 days in Dubai!. No issue as I only installed the system after two weeks on receiving it.
First mistake, I did not connect the right mic jack. Video instruction was not clear, but the attached wiring schematic helps to mitigate this. 2nd mistake was I did not remove and refit the fibre connection on the dongle. Initially the DAB radio did not work. After realising my mistake, I refitted the connection, and it works.
I am over the moon with this kit. Now I can boast to my missus of the Carplay in my 2016 GLC 250d. She always had hers in her 2019 A-class. Good performance and no lag. Not buggy at all (as opposed to the Chinese version in my previous Mercedes GL). All functions work fine and did not lose any steering control.
Only minor regret is that I actually do not need that USB adaptor for hard wired connection and 3.5mm audio for the Bluetooth mic – I won’t need to drill that hole any bigger than it is now. I just need the audio cable to feedback to the USB Input.

I purchased a GTA Wireless CarPlay kit for my 2017 Mercedes Benz C300. Prior to the purchase, I reviewed several other purchase sites, watched numerous YouTube installation videos and felt the most comfort with the GTA Kits. I purchased the necessary tools from Amazon (please watch the installation video to see what tools you need and how to use them). It took me about 2 hours, but I was able to do the installation myself. I would suggest you find a way to label the numerous power and auxiliary cables you must disconnect under the Mercedes control panel you remove to do the installation. I used multi-color stickers to mark the wires and the connection points they came from.
Once I did the installation, I could see Apple CarPlay, but did not have audio nor my Sirus XM satellite radio. I emailed GTA and Vitaliy sent me another video, which was extremely helpful. Apparently, I had not transferred the fiber optics cable from the Mercedes harness to the Car Kit harness. Once I corrected that error, I had audio and Sirius XM and the Car Kit works like a charm, I am so pleased with my Apple CarPlay and the functionality of the Car Kit.
I recently contacted Vitaliy regarding an issue I had with answering calls using my Mercedes call buttons and function. Vitaliy sent me instructions on setting I needed to make on my iPhone, and I have not had any issues since.
I would highly recommend this product not only because of the quality, appearance, and functionality but more importantly. because of customer support.

Installed seamlessly into a 2019 GLC300. Finally Apple CarPlay, wireless and full screen. No more paying for expensive MB navigation map upgrades. I was hesitant to remove the entertainment panel and move around wiring but the installation video was a great help and everything went smoothly. I was faced with reinstalling optic cables and reached out for help to GTACarkits who responded very quickly. The ability to quickly switch from CarPlay to OEM entertainment and back is an added feature.

I’m always nervous when it comes to aftermarket parts for foreign cars. However I really wanted to add CarPlay to my 2015 Mercedes C300 4matic. After finding GTAcarkits I order the part and it got to me in less then 5 days! I followed the instructions provided in the YouTube video and was able to install it in about 2 hours. I have only had it for 4-5 days now but it really has changed the name of the game. The installation was not to complicated, the product does everything I thought it would and honestly more. I have gotten several compliments on it in just a few days and I’m extremely happy with the service and product that GTA Car Kits provides. If your like me and weary of aftermarket parts, I can testify that this is a company worth doing business with.

Mercedes C300 4Matic 2017 with Audio CD 20 (7.4″ screen)
I installed this in about an hour. Compared to the GLC he shows in the video there are many more wires in the back of the radio and not a lot a space so you have to take time to tuck them all in properly. As he suggested you also have to find a place to put the box. There is also very little space to put it under the carpeting on passenger side. I got it intalled and working but will be trying to hide the box tommorrow behind the carpet.
-The cable for the USB to the phone is too short on the C300 due to where you have to mount the box, so I decided to just let that be connected directly to the box and not inside the center console. I tried 2 seperate USB cables and neither would initiate wired android auto. I’m not sure if these cables are power only and not data or why they would not work. I ended up going into the system itself and setting up wireless android auto that way. It works fine, and I do not plan on using the wire.
-I also elected to just have the wifi dongle also be outside the center console as it just needs to have a signal and really can go anywhere.
My main concern is will this drain the car battery or not. I’m not sure if the unit shuts off after a period of time but after all the dash went dark the unit was still flashing lights. Hopefully its very low drain or we may have a problem in the winter.
All in all, I like the unit so far and am glad I got it. The lack of touch screen means a lot of scrolling around but thats just the way it is, even on units with factory Carplay and before touch screens.

I am thrilled with this product. I just had it installed in my 2018 Mercedes GLC 43 AMG and it works brilliantly. Not having the Apple CarPlay and the Android Auto was an integration I was really missing. I was a bit skeptical at first after my initial purchase that it might not work as expected or in the alternative, cause damage to my existing system. However, neither of which occurred. I took my car to have the kit professionally installed and everything works perfectly. Just installed the Wireless CarPlay module for my wife’s 2019 Mercedes GLC 300. The instructional video on the GTACarKits site is awesome and made it simple for me to the installation myself.
