Our Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration kit will give you the ability to add on functions for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Porsche 911 2009-2012 (997.2) existing entertainment system.

To control and switch the apps within CarPlay/Android Auto, is done with your vehicle’s built-in radio controls, or with original touchscreen controls. You will not lose any functions from your original Porsche system, the integration kit will work as an added function.

The kit will come with the required module and all the necessary wires to complete installation in your vehicle.

This product is for Porsche 911 with chassis 997.2. We have a different product for newer 2012 model 911 with chassis 991.1.

In order for this product to work correctly in a 997.2, your vehicle would need to have the original iPod/AUX media interface option from the factory in the centre armrest compartment.

How to install Rearview camera in Porsche 911 (997.2)

I have a 2010 997.2 with the Bose option and XM. I have found the installation of this product to be straightforward, I have been able to use Apple Car Play without any issues since the installation. I’m very happy with this product so far.

Really good addition to the 997.2 PCM. Easy install and video to guide you through it. Now I can use CarPlay and audio from my phone. I had a support question during installation and Lex was quick to fix my issue and all is good now.

Purchased for my 997.2 GTS. Easy installation with an excellent tutorial. I had a problem with the sound initially only coming from my phone, not the car speakers. Customer service was prompt and Lex sent me an email that had me adjust the settings and problem was quickly solved. Love having wireless CarPlay in my 911. Paired this with the Rennline phone mount and have achieved perfection. No issues with the GTA product, phone connects quickly. If you’re on the fence about this product, hop right off because this is the best solution for our older Porsche cars and brings it up to today’s technology.

I have just installed the kit and its fantastic! It’s so much easier to make calls & navigate using Google Assistant, plus the maps are always up to date. The install video was easy to follow and took no time at all. Once installed I had a setup issue with the sound which was quickly fixed by Lex, thank you again for your fast reply and spot on help.

I have a 2016 Porsche Cayman GTS with BOSE and Sirius, the circuit board install went easily and the camera install was a bit of work! The finished product looks factory installed. I am very happy with the system, it meets all of my expectations! If you are considering this upgrade, do it! I did have an issue with my camera and Lex from tech services got me up and running with a couple of emails over the weekend, yes the weekend!

I installed the GTA wireless Apple CarPlay in my Porsche 997.2 In addition, I also added a backup camera in the process. Everything works perfectly. I am very pleased with the product and how the kit kept everything ‘factory’ in appearance. Both the video installation guide and Lex were exceptionally helpful in the whole installation process. I would highly recommend the GTAcarkits wireless Apple CarPlay kit!

Excellent product!. Easy install with perfect video tutorial. A perfect addition to the 997.2 with PCM 3.0. Had a support question during installation and Lex was quick to fix the configuration topic. Works perfect with my iPhone 17 Pro, sound is very good also without MOST fibre optics. I have a 2009 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet (991.1)

Thank you so much for Lex for your help! Everything is working perfectly now.

Initially, I couldn’t get the audio to work through the car’s sound system. After following your first set of instructions to turn off the “Use Original Bluetooth” option, the audio stopped playing from my iPhone but still wouldn’t come through the car speakers.

Per your next suggestion, I needed to enable the AUX source. Since the CD slot initially wouldn’t accept a disc, I held down the eject button for a few seconds until it reset. I then successfully inserted a CD, went to the source menu, selected options, and checked the boxes for USB, iPod, and AUX so they will always appear. Once I switched back to the GTA software, the audio worked perfectly.

I really appreciate your excellent support and guidance throughout this process. You guys are the best!
