Very effective and easy to use kit for my 2018 Cayman S. Installation was done by myself. The video describes the process very well. When reinserting the radio, I was trying to push the large clip all the way back and down but was consistently have trouble sliding the radio back all of the way in. Eventually I tried pushing the wiring to the back but then left the large connected clip to rest more on the top of the original radio unit and it slid back much easier. Initially music audio was not coming through the Carplay but then I found a setting in the GTA Settings to turn off “Use Bluetooth original connection” (or something like that).

Highly recommend this product and this company! I have an iPhone and use the Apple CarPlay function. The install could not have been any easier! What is really great is that they have a Bluetooth setting within their Kit that pipes all the audio through the PCM’s Bluetooth. This makes a big difference, because that allows me to retain the use of the stem controller on the steering wheel column to control the dash Multi-Function Display (Phone calls and media), basically just like the factory!
However, what stood out to me the most was their customer service. I emailed/called to report two very minor “issues” with the CarPlay (that in the Bluetooth mode, the physical track advance button on the PCM did not work to change the songs, and that Message announcements for Siri-for incoming text messages–were not coming through). Not only did they respond quickly, but they are currently working on a fix. MANY of these companies that sell these products (after-market CarPlay) just push them out, and you are left to deal with any compatibility issues….not these guys, they stand behind their product and really do want it to work for you. You communicate with a real person, and it’s clear that they care about getting everything working.
I highly recommend it. You spent a lot of money on your car, and you want a quality product from a good company when you put in aftermarket stuff.

Every bit of my customer experience with the kit, the purchase, after sales support was just smooth, professional and just great. Thank you. I installed the kit myself, and the video posted here was very informative and helpful. I was only a bit stressed out when trying to push the radio back into the dashboard. It’s just a lot of cables and connectors, and it’s pretty crowded. But it did work eventually, and the whole systems works very well (and just as expected). It’s a.a massive upgrade to the car.
Also, after sales support was really great. Quick, very friendly and extremely helpful (when I had to notice that the sound output of Google’s Assistant and GPS voice sounded bad and low quality. I changed a setting in the car kit’s menu, and voilà, it did the trick. Thank you!!

I installed this unit myself. The instructions were good and customer service was great. I had an issue on the install and Lex at GTA helped diagnose a blown inline fuse. Unit works as represented.
