Please note:

No Splitter/Y-cable would be required if your vehicle has Navigation on this particular model, as it is internally wired within the radio itself.

External 6-disk changer which could be below the stereo or in the glovebox, will be disabled, and replaced with functionality of our kit. There is no kit on the market to make your Disk-Changer and a kit like ours to work at the same time. Internal CD-changer will still work.

Received the Bluetooth version a few days ago, followed the video posted here and realized mine was slightly different install (2004 no Nav with rear entertainment) and I just replaced the plug that matched with it. It works perfectly. Connects to my phone within a few seconds. Sound is better than I honestly expected from Bluetooth. I thought it was rather expensive but decided to pay the premium for the clear 04 compatibility and I am glad I did it. From an 04 owner, I fully recommend!

We bought a 2004 mdx that is a bit behind in the technology department, but was a killer deal and does everything we could ever ask besides connect to our phones for calls and music. We were trying to listen to Spotify via a cassette adapter and made the Bose sound system very sad. We ordered the Bluetooth kit and calls are crystal clear, and music sounds awesome. This order took the worst part about this car (besides mpg) and turned it into a highlight. Installation took 15-20 min and was even simpler than I expected. I took the ash tray out at put the module in the opening and ran the cords through a tiny slot behind it so I can swap out power cords or aux cord if one goes bad.

I purchased a GTA Pure Bluetooth for my 2004 Acura MDX that had no bluetooth built in from the factory. When it arrived, I thought they had shorted my a y-splitter that was supposed to come with the kit. However, when I emailed their support, a technician responded that I should not need the y-splitter for a 2004 (video online was for a 2005 that needs the y-splitter). He told me to attempt the installation and contact them if I had any questions. I had not tried to install up to that point as I thought I was missing a component. I installed the PureBluetooth. The microphone cable was long enough to route from above my rear view mirror all the way along the roofline, down the a-frame and through the dash to the PureBluetooth product. Once I put everything in place, the unit paired perfectly with my iPhone 7 and has a great sound! Sounds nearly as good as the CD player. When a call comes in, switches to the microphone mode and works well…(close to as good as an OEM bluetooth..although you have to keep the volume down slightly so the connected party does not hear their feedback). Overall, my unit is a great product, their tech support was great, and I keep the factory head unit for a minimal cost to "integrate" with my iPhone7! I would recommend the product and the experience to anyone attempting to achieve quality results with an existing OEM head unit. My vehicle has the OEM head unit and a factory navigation product. Thank you to the GTA team for a great product and great service!

Wow, yep works incredible! I bought the wireless bluetooth for my Acura MDX 2004. (The iPhone7 doesn't even have a stereo cord now so that made my decision easy to do wireless or not!) Other review is right that CD changer no longer works (unless I buy a splitter, but that didn't come with package), and the back stereo plugin port for my car was not in the same location as video, but it's not hard to figure out and video overall made installation quick and easy. To think how much I would've spent to have this professionally done. Great purchase and I'm pleased :-)

Great product! My kit for my 2004 Acura MDX works perfectly. The installation was easy thanks to the helpful video. I wish I had bought the kit a long time ago.

Installs only if you are ready to disconnect the external CD changer (usually under drivers seat) for the Acura MDX. I had no use for the CD changer so I was good with it. The 30 pin connector works great for audio for the iPhone 5S with the adapter BUT charging is really slow.

If you are considering this...just get it...stop considering and go for it. I bought a used 2001 MDX and was using the very nice Bose stereo with a cassette adapter...horrible! Just installed the kit with the Bluetooth extension. Took me about 1 hr to do the whole job. Not that hard. Hardest part was getting the microphone into the A-piller. Still not that hard. MDX has lot of open space under the steering wheel Didn't even have to pull those panels. I wasted a lot of time trying to upgrade my system. Checking out stereos @ best buy and install options etc...This is by far the easiest and best option. It integrates PERFECTLY with the OEM stereo and navigation system. Tried, iOS, Android, Music, Google Maps, YouTube, even watching movies...all worked perfectly through Bluetooth. Also, it's super helpful that the video explain the install so you are not surprised. Just note that if you have a 2001 model year you do not need the Y cable. Very happy and already promoting to friends with MDX/Pilot :)
