If you are considering this...just get it...stop considering and go for it. I bought a used 2001 MDX and was using the very nice Bose stereo with a cassette adapter...horrible!

Just installed the kit with the Bluetooth extension. Took me about 1 hr to do the whole job. Not that hard. Hardest part was getting the microphone into the A-piller. Still not that hard. MDX has lot of open space under the steering wheel Didn't even have to pull those panels.

I wasted a lot of time trying to upgrade my system. Checking out stereos @ best buy and install options etc...This is by far the easiest and best option. It integrates PERFECTLY with the OEM stereo and navigation system. Tried, iOS, Android, Music, Google Maps, YouTube, even watching movies...all worked perfectly through Bluetooth.

Also, it's super helpful that the video explain the install so you are not surprised. Just note that if you have a 2001 model year you do not need the Y cable.

Installed the kit last night(2007 Mazda6 w/Bose system no nav.), works great. Dropped the 10mm bolt twice reinstalling, that was a pain to find x2. The hardest part of the install was finding the bolt after I dropped it, I ended up jamming a small piece of scrap between the bolt and the socket to get a tight hold. This kept the bolt from falling out of the socket. Will spread the word when I get the chance.

I did this on my prius 2005. It took about 5 minutes. I watched the video but decided to just remove the glove compartment and one plastic tabbed piece of dash. Then i reached around the back and inserted the cable where i could feel it ought to go (from having watched the video). Click. Has been working very well for 3 months. Worth trying this way over taking the whole thing apart.

Installed the GTA Car Kit iPod adapter in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma with OEM JBL radio/CD changer. The installation went very smooth thanks to the GTA video. The unit functions as advertised and the installation is clean with everything tucked away and hidden in the console.

I was surprised at how easy the install went, everything was plug and play. I really like the ability to control everything from the steering wheel controls and it is great that the GTA kit charges my iPod while it is connected. This is a great product.

The quick shipping was a plus also. I ordered my kit on a Sunday and I had it in my hands that following Thursday.

JUST INSTALLED THE KIT AFTER WATCHING THE YOU-TUBE VIDEO. I ALSO ORDERED THE TOOL KIT TO REMOVE THE DASH TRIM WHICH MADE THE JOB VERY SIMPLE(IT TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR). THE SOUND AND OPERATION ARE BOTH GREAT WITH EVERYTHING WORKING THROUGH THE RADIO CONTROLS. I AM USING MY I-PHONE 5 WITH AN APPLE ADAPTER. A GREAT PRODUCT.

Nice easy kit fit into my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. The video from GTA was a great help and everything went smoothly on install. I'm happy to report that this works extremely well. The only thing that would be better is if it had the iPhone 5 and higher pin adapter. I had to spend almost $40 on an adapter. Otherwise, this beat all expectation and anyone with an older vehicle should buy one. Larry - Calgary

1. The ability to watch and listen carefully to youtube videos
2. Know how to use a screwdriver

It was ridiculous how easy it was to install the GTACarKit and it worked. I am so happy that I chose this product. Thank you guys so much for the awesome product, the cheap price tag that comes with the product and for the instructional video.

I Just installed my kit right now, and I was nervous doing it at night but it was very easy and took me like 30 minutes. I was unsure HOW I was supposed to run it under the plastic center console because, this vid didnt actually show us the procedure, but I just put the kit in a left pocket behind the stereo and just ran the cords( ipod and aux cords) through the center console opening. I wasnt sure if the kit was actually supposed to go in and behind the stereo to the left, but thats what I did and it fit and works nicely. :) Now I can have aux capability! What a simple but essential feature that every car should have! :T
