August 22, 2014I live in Utah, I ordered this less than a week ago and received it yesterday. Install was very easy and quick, the toughest part was deciding where I wanted to mount it in my dash to give me the longest cables. There is plenty of room behind the stereo but I opted to mount it just above the middle console compartment, which is below the stereo and heater / ac controls. I drilled a hole in the top tray for the wires to come through from the back and it holds the wires perfectly, out of the way and in a small cubby that I have never used for anything.
The car kit performs perfectly with no sound interference, it controls my iphone from the radio buttons and just using the 3.5 mini jack works perfectly as well. Great sound, great price, easy install. I wish I had found these guys before I installed a much more expensive one in my bmw. Thanks!

The installation was relatively straightforward. I think I may have spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 45 minutes doing it. I already have a lot of tools for working on electronics so I didn't have to buy anything. The video was VERY helpful.
I am using an iPhone 5 with an Apple Thunderbolt to 30-pin adapter. I ran the cables down to the bin below the cup holders.
I really like the fact that I can keep the perfectly good factory stereo I (and the rest of my family) am used to, and the hybrid mode that lets me control from the stereo or from my phone.
I didn't want to lose my 6-disc CD-changer or the ability to control media from my steering wheel, so in my case this was a better option. Plus, in my opinion, it is easier to install than a new head unit. And, I already have recommended this to several friends :)

January 25, 2013"I came across your website when I was trying to look for a product that I can use to play songs from my iPhone through my existing car stereo. I tried using FM transmitter in the past. The sound quality was so poor that I had to remove it. The transmitter is sitting somewhere in my garage collecting dust.
The shipping surprisingly was very fast. I expected my GTA car kit to take over a month, but I received it in less than 2 weeks.
The installation was very quick It only took me less than half an hour. The instruction video was ver clear and easy to understand. I have an iPhone 5 and my wife has an iPhone 4. We are both using our iPhones to listen to our favourite music. The iPod cable are connected directly to the GTA car kit.
I really like that GTA Car Kit is easy to install and use. The car kit produces music with excellent clarity.
