Wireless CarPlay and AndroidAuto Integration for Jaguar F-Type 2014-2017

Superb kit, Totally transforms the entertainment system in the 2015 era F Type! Installation takes a bit of work to access the head unit and the radio module behind the centre console but with a few hours set aside and care taken with a few interior removal tools and the system is basically plug and play. The details says it works with the Bose system, I can confirm it also fits the Meridian sound system without any modifications. My only suggestion to GTA would be to consider extending the loom that plugs into the rear of the display unit by about 3 inches as getting the male and female plugs that need to be installed behind the display unit requires a fair bit of dexterity and it is difficult to confirm that the plug is securely in the back of the display unit because of the length of the loom. It isn't impossible, but was the trickiest part of an otherwise straightforward install - It would also allow a little more slack to get the loom that runs along the side of the tunnel to be hidden away as clipping the long side trim back on was a little tricky with tension on the loom. Great kit, straightforward(ish) to install, recommended for any F Type owner!

Jaguar F-Type 2017. Works better than expected. Easy Installation. You get faster, more responsive AndroidAuto/Apple CarPlay than OEM radios of cars from 2018,2019,2020... The cable can be a bit longer, as I had to use another point of entry.

Porsche cayenne 2012. Easy install even though I was super nervous in the beginning (installing a new motherboard initially appeared to be daunting task). The step by step instructional video truly saved me thousands. Would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their radio with CarPlay. Top notch product, fast shipping and superb instructions.

I'm so pleased I decided to purchase the GTA CarKit for my F-Type R. I've had the integration kit installed on my car for over a year. The first unit I purchased had a glitch where it would reboot up to 25 times on a road trip soon after I installed it. I dealt with this for a year before I got around to contacting GTA about this issue. I don't drive the car much in town, but I do take it on long road trips. I must say I received the best customer service...second to none. When I contacted GTA a year after dealing with this problem, they immediately mailed me a new kit...no questions asked. I've had the new unit installed in my car for over 6 months with zero issues. I must have gotten a bad one the first time around, but GTA made it right...that's customer service. Excellent customer service is the most important thing to me. I will pay extra for an item if it comes with excellent customer service. There are products out there that are similar to the GTA CarKit...some cheaper and some more expensive, but I bet their customer service isn't near as good as GTA's. I mean what company replaces a unit a year later to fix a customers problem. Lastly, to this day (over a year and a half later), they still answer my questions when I email them. In fact, I just asked a few questions a couple days ago, and they got back to me within 24 hours. Thank you and please keep that customer first attitude, GTA.

This is an update to my earlier review. This issue I was having with the touch-screen not working had to do with the dip switches. For my car (2016 Jaguar F-Type) positions 1 and 3 had to be on. This resolved my issue. But more amazingly was the quick response I received on a Sunday evening. This allowed me to complete the installation. I have nothing but praise for GTA's customer service. In this post-Covid epidemic era, where customer service has taken a nose dive, it's nice to know that some companies are still keeping that in the forefront of their business. Hats off to GTA for doing so.

Spent a while looking for a way to add android auto /Apple carplay to my Jag. This is handsdown the best product for bosch systems. The installation instructions are great. Though I have one criticism, the included cable should be longer. As it currently stands it is barely long enough to reach the back of the rear unit and required some creative wire adjustment to get it to reach (which wasn’t in the video instruction). They actually put development time into creating their own kit, and it isn’t a re-skin of an existing Chinese product from what I can tell. Support was super helpful in getting the two issues I had to work, so make sure to reach out to them if you run into issues. Issues support resolved: – touch screen in apple carplay not working ( setting changes on physical device) – android auto wireless not working ( reboot + setting changes on software for device) overall a 5/5 product, wish the cable was longer as that was the largest pain in the but for installation DIY.
