I just installed this kit in my daughter’s car and, I gotta say, it was soooooo easy to do! And, she LOVES it!!! I gotta give a shout-out to the maker of the video as it was very easy to follow. Great product and will recommend it to everyone. Thanks GTA!!!!

I ordered this kit for my 2005 Toyota Sequoia (with Nav and Rear Entertainment System) and it came very quick (in 3 business days). Installing it was super easy and it sounds great! I have ordered other systems in the past from eBay that were like $40, but they never worked. Don’t let the price be an issue. If you buy cheap, you’re gonna get a cheap product!

I just installed your GTA Car Kit in my 2000 Acura TL. The installation took a lot longer than I expected. There are a few differences with a 2000 TL and the 2003 TL in the video but it wasn’t hard to figure out what to do.

The main differences are:
1) The 2000 TL has some extra screws that are used instead of clips.
2) There are no 8 mm hex screws. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver.
3) The 2000 TL stereo is a little different than the one in the video. There are 4 mounting screws used on a 2000 TL stereo.

The most difficult part was removing and reinstalling the heated seat switches. As an extra bonus, I found several dollars worth of change that dropped out of the coin box. I have a first generation iPod touch that I am using with the GTA Car Kit. It sounds fantastic through the Bose audio system. I’m glad I didn’t replace the stereo with an aftermarket unit. The YouTube video was very helpful.

After many many many months looking for a system in which I could play Spotify through my car I came across GTA car kits. I have had this product for over a year now and can’t tell you how happy this little guy has made me. The other day the kit had just stopped working. I contacted support pretty late at night and by the time I woke up they had already replied with an in-depth solution that had fixed everything!

Customer support/care and the quality of everything is unbeatable! You guys rock!

The only thing I wish for is for a cable for my iPhone 5 so I don’t have to use the apple adapter. But other than that, you guys are awesome!

I’ve had the GTA car kit for several months now, and I absolutely love it! I was nervous about taking off the panels inside my car because I’m not a very tech-savvy girl, but the video guide helped tremendously! I didn’t have any trouble following it. I felt so accomplished when I finished installing it! It took a little while to install because I’m a perfectionist, but I would say if I did it again, it would probably take about 20-30 minutes. I was not familiar with all the tools, but it wasn’t too hard to find them at the local hardware store (I took in a sticky note with all the names of the tools and found a helpful Home Depot employee to guide me). Once installed, it worked like a charm! I have an iPod Classic and it synced up perfectly.

I had contacted GTA customer service because I wanted to know if the kit would work for my iPhone 5S. The customer service rep I worked with (Maurizio) was incredibly helpful and responded quickly. Although there isn’t a compatible cable offered directly through GTA car kits (due to certain patents), another one was recommended through Apple. Not wanting to spend more money on an Apple chord, I decided to try my luck with a simple MP3 auxiliary chord I had used in rental cars to hook up my phone. I was thrilled when I plugged it in and my phone played through my stereo’s system when I connected the chord to the GTA unit! I was so happy! Of course, my phone doesn’t charge from that cable and I can’t control the song selection from my stereo controls, but that didn’t matter to me. What mattered was that I could play Pandora on my iPhone 5S through the GTA kit out of my stereo for amazing sound! I was so happy!!

Using my iPod Classic and all the useful features the GTA car kit allows (controlling songs through my car’s stereo, charging my iPod, and selecting playlists) made my car rides much more enjoyable. And on top of that, if I want to listen to Pandora on my iPhone 5S, I can just plug in my simple, cheap auxiliary chord and listen to that as well.

More than all of this, I was most impressed by the quality of customer service I experienced from GTA. I sent a few emails inquiring about different things, and I was always answered promptly and courteously. The answers were clear and very helpful. It was such a relief to know that that provider of this kit cared so much about the user’s experience. It’s definitely a quality kit, very simple to install by watching the video, and it was incredibly reassuring to have customer service that is caring and quick. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in a very reasonably-priced kit and a cool and simple challenge of installing it yourself (and saving a lot of money and time at an auto shop).

Compared to the product offered by VW this is twice the product at a quarter the price.. This unit charges your phone when the radio is on and gives you complete usage of all the things on your iphone.. Shuffle select individual songs playlists whatever.. Amazing unit and easy to install.. Watch the video on this site..
