"I received my GTA car kit in the mail on Friday, and decided to try the installation on Saturday night. Thanks to the YouTube video, I knew exactly what tools I needed to have on hand -- the magnet is priceless -- and installation was ten times easier than I thought it would be. If I had a question (are there more clips to release?), I had the video handy to guide me through the install. I have an '07 Corolla and and the kit works perfectly. I don't know what's more satisfying: driving into work listening to the tunes on my iPhone, or knowing I was able to do this myself for a fraction of what it would have cost to have a shop do it (or to by a new stereo).

Your webpage says girlfriends/wives might be impressed... but I think it's time for an update. If a chick like me can handle this, the whole world should be impressed!

Just to let you know i had been looking for a kit like this for years. My wife loved the product and the install was done about 45 minutes. I do thank you for your video on the installation. Even though the removal of the radio was a little bit different(Mazda 5 I'm guessing I had the USA version of the vehicle), I was still able to apply the same basic idea.

"I rarely provide feedback for electronics I purchase, but I feel compelled to write you about the GTA kit I just purchased and installed on my 2006 Honda Civic. I researched my options thoroughly before purchasing your product after my daughter asked for a way to play her itunes from her iPhone when driving back and forth to college. CD's just don't cut it with the kids these days!

I was impressed with your price and ease of connectivity, but what really sold me was the instructional video for installation. I'm a DIY'er for anything automotive, but I've been frustrated more than once when working on a dashboard or stereo installation. The installation would have taken hours instead of the 40 minutes if not for your video as Honda hides their stereo bolts very well! The video includes operational instruction as well and made the switch from CD's to itunes very easy!

Everything works perfectly and as demonstrated on the video. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but your videos are worth 100,000 words!

"Found you guys through Internet search.

Installation was intuitive and simple to understand. Install took me 1/2 hr. No tools other than socket & velco needed. The toyota highlander video was VERY helpful for me to undetsrand how the stereo trim panel & head unit was removed (knowing where the hidden fasteners are is a real bonus so one doesn't break plastic with guesswork.

I like that GTA kit can use both mp3 & Apple products while still using original car stereo and steering wheel control keys for iphone

Overall the product does seem a little pricey, but in-line with competitor devices. GTA staff & products HIGHLY recommended. Maurizio was very helpful in answering all my questions for compatibility before buying, found my answers from Tech support, and was very prompt & courteous in all responses. A rating."

"I was looking how to install a car stereo for Mazda rx-8 2006 and I came across a video for GTA car kits.

I bought Sony car stereo and it was too complicated, I chose GTA car kits cars because it was so much easier & simple, just plug and play. I had fm transmitters before and the quality is not good, the sound quality of GTA car kits actually better than when I was using cd's

Shipping was average, not fast or slow.

I did the whole installation with only a screw driver,(It had one part where I needed a ratchet but the bolt was already loose so I took it out with my bare hands) but I guess other cars will be different. The video was 100% helpful, I appreciated that GTA car kits took out the time to make a demonstration video...other big name companies don't even do that.

i'm using my iPhone 4's and I love the fact that I cold still use my steering wheel controls. I ran the aux and ipod cables under my stick shift and into my cup holders, it looked liked Mazda made it for GTA car kits lol because it's well hidden and I have easy access to it.
i like the playlist feature the most, that acts like a cd changer. I do like to comment how instead of burning a cd every other day to keep hearing fresh music that holds about 18 songs, I could install GTA car kits and have thousands of song and with great sound quality!

Only negative side is that it's not available for every car, which means I can't refer to certain people or buy it as a gift for certain people if its not compatible to all brands and makes.

I just wish I knew about GTA car kits before I had bought a $400 stereo! Ouch!"

"I tried earlier FM transmitters and also Cassette adaptor , both cases the audio was so low quality and also did read online about USA-spec but looking at these both.. GTA car kit is cheaper than the ISA-Spec and also much more feature rich.

Installation was a piece of cake, just took me 30 minutes for the installation. I just watched the Video posted on the GTA car kit website and followed the instructions.. They were very precise and easy to follow. The quality of the Video was also good. I just used philips screw driver did not had to buy any extra tools.

I use iPhone4s - ran the cable from inside into the lower compartment just above the carcharger/cigarette lighter. so i can keep the wires hidden when not in use. very easy to pull the cables there . I can use the Disc - and Disc and other Stereo buttons to totally control my iPhone including the audio controls on my steering.. as if i am controlling a CD

"I just installed my GTA car kit on my 2006 Toyota Solara Convertable.

I was very leary ahout trying to remove the vent portion of my dash because it was in the sun for the last 6 years and I didn't want to crack it. I found a way to get to the back of the radio without removing that piece. Once you remove the bottom section around the gear shift and the box under the radio, you can reach your hand up and feel the back of the radio and the harness plugs right in. I have big hands and although it was a bit of a struggle it beat trying to remove the vents on my dash. It took the longest to connect the harness, maybe about 5 minutes but it was worth it not having to remove the radio or vents at all. Just a suggestion it works great!!!

"Found you through Google search. Your website was informative and well made.

I considered several different kits. I chose the GTA Cat Kit because ALL of the other kits would have required me to purchase separate parts and assemble it all myself. I also liked the interface that your kit uses on my stereo's screen. That and the fact that your kit was the best value -- To buy the parts I would have needed to get both an aux port and an ipod port (that allows me to operate and charge the ipod) I would have needed to spend about $50 more, at least.

The installation took me about twenty minutes start to finish. I used a real thin flat blade screw driver to pop the paneling off. The panel tool is the only thing I didn't have, but it isn't hard to use a screwdriver to do the same thing if you are careful. The videos were incredibly helpful. Its not hard to take all the stuff off, but I wouldn't have guessed where some of the screws were to do so.

I use an old ipod video currently and my Droid X cellphone. The other driver whose car I installed a kit in uses an iPhone and an iPod classic. On the 2006 Camry, I ran the cables up through the flat tray spot to the left of the shifter.
